Our Story — PeaceLoka

Not a brand.
A belief
system.

"Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I'll meet you there."

Origin

The world didn't break.
It broke open.

Wars funded by the same governments that can't feed their people. A food system designed to make us sick. A culture that mistakes noise for meaning and consumption for purpose.

PeaceLoka was born from a simple refusal: to accept that this is just how things are.

The name comes from two words. Peace — the state we're building toward. Loka — the Sanskrit word for world, realm, the space we inhabit together. This is our world. We choose how to live in it.

"They got money for wars but can't feed the poor."
— Tupac Shakur

The Code We Live By

01

Help Ever.
Hurt Never.

Borrowed from Sathya Sai Baba. Not a slogan. A moral operating code. Every product, every decision, every dollar — measured against this.

02

No Synthetic Living.

What goes on your body matters as much as what goes in it. We source real materials, work with ethical suppliers, and refuse to print disposable fashion.

03

Wear the Message.

Clothing is communication. Every piece carries a question, a provocation, or a declaration. If someone asks what your shirt means — that's the beginning of a conversation worth having.

Built by someone who's
been in the room.

Kannan Ayyar spent 20 years at the highest levels of enterprise technology — from Salomon Brothers derivatives trading to leading Internet Systems Consortium as CEO. He knows how systems are built. And how they fail people.

PeaceLoka is the other side of that career. The part that asks: what are we actually building this for? The food activism, the spiritual practice, the family legacy — all of it converges here.

South Indian roots. American ambition. A belief that consciousness and commerce don't have to be enemies.

The Manifesto

We are not anti-war because war is ugly.
We are anti-war because peace is possible.

We are not plant-based because meat is wrong.
We are plant-based because our bodies deserve better.

We don't build brands because the world needs more products.
We build brands because the world needs more signal.

Help Ever. Hurt Never.
This is the whole philosophy.
Everything else is execution.

The First 100
are already here.

Are you one of them?
